I found a link to a tablet that seems really promising! It has Bluetooth, USB, sd slots, hdmi, and the memory and hard drive are both expandable! check it out:

Just gotta get rid of win7 on it and replace it with Linux or android or something... I don't think Microsoft is really paying attention to what a tablet pc needs as opposed to what a laptop or desktop pc needs.

the tablet thing is so damn tempting... and i'm a mac fanatic so of course i want an ipad.... but this past xmas, i was stricken with the choice of an iPad or a PS3......

i took the PS3.... ultimately for what the ipad does it is just too damn expensive.... and for a person like me, 16gigs is not nearly enough and i would NEED it to have 3G capability and i absolutely refuse to give AT&T anymore of my money....

HT your choice seems fine, good price for what it does.... but of course, if it's a "lesser known" brand built cheaply for "affordability" then you always run the risk of it being built by danelectro....

I've been using nothing but an iPad exclusively for the last week or so and I absolutely hate this stupid thing. It's annoying in so many ways... No USB slots? WTF?! No Bluetooth? Bbullshit! No way to plus into any peripherals at all? Worthless!!

You can't expand the memory, you have to use shitty apps made for an iPod if you want to use skype or IM anybody, you have to pay $10 just to find out that this p.o.s. App doesn't do the job you need it to, with no option for refund.

Fuck apple and their proprietary bullshit. Fuck the iPad. If I wasn't given this thing by my work, I'd trade it to one of you guys for a ds1
