The worst part was the numbing shot. It did feel like someone was tugging on my nuts when the doc got a hold of the vas deferens to do the snip. Feeling kinda nauseous and exhausted.
My wife is so cool. She went with and watched the entire procedure. She's into that kind of thing though; I puke at the sight of insides, entrails,....large amounts of blood etc etc.
Then; post-op, she held the gauze on the incisions when my hands started to tire out. Merry Christmas Wifey.
I'm starting to realize that as the Simpsons continues to degrade over time, life references can often be redirected immediately into The Big Lebowski instead.
The woman and I don't particularly care for kids, but we're not opposed to having them. We're also not opposed to not having them. I'd rather have a dog, and we don't even have that yet. Just a fish. For now.
EDIT: Oh yeah, on the way to work one morning I saw some dude driving his pickup truck with one of those Sticker Family things. It was him and a cat, that's it. As I drove by I noticed just how content the dude looked with pretty much everything. He was smiling even, and not in one of those I'M CRAZY GIDEON type of ways.

Good for you TS. I'm a big fan of less babies. It's not that I dislike kids, it's more that I would never want kids of my own and I hate parents. They're irrational people who have no sense of humor(as a result of having kids, not the other way around). The moment anything poses a potential threat to children, no matter how absurd, illogical or unlikely, they're up in arms about it.
I think anyone who says something about wanting to "spread their seed" should have their head bashed in on a rock. That is an incredibly selfish and horrible reason to create human life! If I'm ever committed to a lady, and she really, REALLY wants a kid, I will make my ultimatum that we adopt. The only thing more disgusting than people who need to have a baby is pregnancy itself.
