i'm not working at the moment, so we didn't have an elaborate Christmas stuff-wise. i got:

some new socks
a hemp wallet (type-casting!)
a big insulated travel coffee mug
one of those dark-chocolate oranges, which i adore

and a hot latte from somebody who loves me, after i woke up snuggled next to my favorite of our three cats.

I got Samick strat and P-bass copies. I'm stoked to have a 6-string, I only have basses. Whoever set them up did a good job and I'm glad to report that the frets aren't sharp or anything. Seems pretty decent! I haven't spent a lot of time with them yet but they seem to be good upgrade platforms. I actually really like the P pickup, it is a nice tonal change from the Duncan SPB-3 in my other P-bass. The neck is also not quite as huge and I dig that.

I wasn't expecting so much stuff, the ipod and guitars were way cool!
