^That's the scary thing!!! It's satire, but it's so close to the reality in a lot of ways. Almost too close!

Re: I really hope
Gaaaaaaaaaahhhh come on! This is like a little while ago when everyone got all upset with the article about that fag who got arrested because he blew his load at a security guard while getting a pat down. I'm not saying I'm a fucking BRILLIANT COMEDIC GENIUS or anything, but some of you really thought this was real? REALLY?
The other thing I wanted to mention is that this website actually has a lot of good, relevant information. Sure, some of it is out there, but I think that most of the things that are posted in the various threads are just built upon common sense. For instance, the O.P. makes a good point about the physics of the earth and why it is actually possible that it could be flat. The example of jumping up in the air in a flatbed truck is really pretty brilliant... if it's going 75 m.p.h. and you're standing on it completely still, when you jump, it's totally going to come out from underneath you and you're going to be road barf. There was another thread I read about how the earth is really only maybe 5,000 years old, which also comes pretty much straight from the Bible. This is a theory that I actually believe in myself, as what have scientists and geographers ever actually found in the core of the earth that's older than 5,000 years?
So yeah, it might be "satire", but most of it is based on solid fact and is only "funny" because it points out some really simple proven facts about God's earth. Don't write it off so quickly.
Also, there is this really weird online news site called "The Onion" that seems to have some questionable articles. Have any of you guys heard of it? I'll see if I can find a link somewhere... it will take me a while. Anyway, yeah, I'm thinking about getting really pissed off and upset about The Onion because some of the articles seem to be lying and also not being truthful.
