Christmas transforms me into a five year old every time and I just want to get something awesome like I did back then. You know, the kind of stuff that will keep you playing with it for the rest of the evening. Unfortunately LEGO doesn't work anymore. And this year was really bad. I've got after shave from my mum, even though I have a full beard. And my wife gave me a book but 'hid' it in a place I was almost sure to see it beforehand (which I did) plus I got to buy a guitar on ebay - turns out it doesn't work properly. Right, it's just new pots and jack (hopefully) but I was still bummed out. And on top of being a disappointed five-year-old I feel guilty about feeling that way 'cause I'm 31 and a father and should be more responsible and grown-up than that. Lots of red wine didn't help really.
