I put an enclosure inside my charcoal grill when the paint was still wet. If it weren't for the ash that blew up and made it look dirty, I would've left it that way.

I love the smell of solder in the morning.

Not a bad idea. I have lightly experimented with wet/dry/mix with spray paint, naptha various other things. Will take some fine tuning :whateva:

Ha ha - yeah - this was just an accident (this is one of four that burnt - so look out for more coming down the pike real soon), but it looks like if you got a process down it could be a cool finishing technique . . . though perhaps not a 'safe' one . . .

they get really hot. all you would have left would be a black carbon coating no matter what you put on it. also, not much ventilation on a kiln so you could start a fire in the kiln but it wouldn't make the pedal look any more or less black.

I cut the plug off a dead cable for that purpose.

I tend to forget to plug the cable into my bass guitar while wondering why this f***ing piece of sh*t doesn't put out anything... spend lots of time to find that error... :D
