Yes, my beard does keep me warm. But I find it gross and sweaty in the summer, so I grow a beard every October and shave it off in April. My wife hated it at first, but now she's totally used it and always acts sad when I shave it off in the spring.

I think I would go to scratch my beard and then I would have black shit all over me. If I ever was to grow it for a long time and then did this, people would say I keep a pet octopus in my beard.
