Basically you post what you have coming and/or gong in the post.
Sound fun?![]()
Why Do I think this is good idea?
Well.. not everyone is going to start a thread on every pedal/other gear they get every time they get it, and.. it helps those that might have a question on a pedal/other gear but not want to start a thread but might want to know who has actually used one.
Eh?
Ok In: Elk Wau Fuzz.
Initial thoughts: holy cunking frap! This thing is sick! Sick I say!
Ok first what does it sound like? This is a question I have been wondering about for a few years and why I finally just got up and got one.
It sounds like a supperfuzz.
In "normal it has much lows
In tone change all you get are mids, still a neat sound but not the bassiest.
The wah works for bass.
It is voiced more in the lowpass range in it's sweep.
Ok the thing is...
When you use then together... evilness!
With the wah on you get MORE lows in either setting.
The down side for picky, whiny prima donnas that miss out on great tones due to them being whiny prima donnas:
Battery only [hey it's from the 70's]
It is big [hey it's from the 70's]
It is not true-bypass [hey it's from the 70's]
The treadle doesn't stay where you leave it [I'm going to fix this]
Yes this is a repost from TB, so the fuck what
