Have you tried the Monarch @ 18v yet? I have a serious question: when is it okay to run @ 18v? I mean only a few makers acknowledge the capability to do so on certain pedals. Best EQ overdrive for bass

It's ok when all the components can handle 18v or more..

Most pedals aren't meant to run that high, but can if made ready. The caps need to be rated high enough to handle the voltage.
