That's my secret for world peace: naps, massage, and world leader summits have to be held in a ball pit.warwick.hoy wrote:I can't get next to people that look down on napping. Naps are only the greatest invention ever.

People that think The Mighty Boosh is too weird. People need to open their mind and stop looking for predictable american sitcom grab assery. They obviously know nothing of the crunch.

I'll say, it bugs the jank out of me when people can't respect "screaming" as a valid form of vocal.
I've had the "They're not just yelling" argument more times than I can count.
Some vocalists just have it, but there is still a significant amount of technique to be had in screaming properly and not damaging your vocal chords.

I have had similar arguments about bands that use dissonance in there songs to create ugly music (Sonic Youth). Some people just don't get that it is an extension of the emotions they are trying to convey. I don't like screaming all the time, but there are places for that style of music, its not all garbage.

QOTSA. So good. Get such a bad rap.
And Rush. Fuckers, you can't claim to dislike those grooves.

Again...
QOTSA is one of my favorites by far, songs for the deaf is amazing.
Rush is epic live.
