I get why people don't like them, often times I don't like them; as when they butcher a song one of their regular songs.

I pretty much only listen to them when other people aren't around, but unless you've been to some shows, or listened to a lot of shows, you really don't get an opinion in my book.

I don't know if that's "looking down on", or just agreeing to disagree with someone elses' opinion.

i look down on people who dont like crunchy peanut butter or pulpy orange juice. Also i get angry when people only get pepperoni on their pizza.

When people don't like Nirvana (or any band for that matter) because everyone else likes said band. It's cool if you don't dig the music, but that excuse is bullshit.

On some Pumpkins forums people bitch about Bullet With Butterfly Wings.... I love that song no matter how many times I've heard it.

Also when I show people Arcade Fire on youtube, if they say "They need to stop shouting so loud and actually sing..." :facepalm:
