Nope..no groin-shots..just the VATS targeting system from FO3 (head, left arm, right arm, left leg, right leg, and torso)

Did anybody else think it was kinda short? Maybe I just have no life but I picked it up at release and I already feel like I've done everything there is to do in the game. All the locations and quests and guns, I've even replayed from the middle to get a few different endings. Just didn't seem quite as engrossing as Fallout 3 to me.

I had 86 hours in my first play through... I'm playing on my second game right now and have found quests I didn't realize existed.

lulz fallout.

Preparing for a big shootout that a quest keeps talking about...I scavenge some armor/meds to powerup, spend a LONG time getting a vendor to refresh his items with weapon mods, convince all the townsfolk to help.

After a few hours I'm set for war!
I activate the quest, and by the time I run down the hill the battle is over, all enemies dead/townsfolk survive without me doing a thing.

I shot that dude in the gas station immediately in my first game lol. I was forever a merciful thug.

I helped my sister do a character build when we got the game..and now I'm a little bummed...her build is turning out to be better than mine, even though I'm the one actually playing both of them! (she just watches/supervises how I handle her character..she likes the story elements, but isn't much of an FPS'er) :idk: oh well..

I'm smack in the middle of my first playthrough, but taking a break. While I enjoy the game overall, and they made VAST improvements on the engine in comparison to FO3, I have to say I liked the overall setting of 3 better. Yeah, the desert is HUGE, but there's just not enough for me to explore, in terms of 'dungeons', if you will. I've got over 175 locations on my map, and while some of them are cool buildings, I miss the ridiculous HUGENESS of some of the fighting areas, my personal favorite from 3 being the Dunwich Building (love me some Lovecraft).

That being said, I love the game, just taking a break. Think I'm gonna get back into Star Oceam: The Last Hope for a bit...

Great game! I'm trying to see all the 4 endings, in which the NCR and Legion ones are complete.

FO3 is still my favorite game of all time. Can't wait for the DCL for New Vegas! :thumb:
