Looks like it. I have a similar non-circuit bent one lying round I think.

Yep it's a Space Cat Audio Technologies circuit bent casio vl-1 with 10 mods, I've been gassing over this persons work for over a year now (as well as spunkytoofers and noystoise). Here's a demo of one with nearly identical bends:

I couldn't get it to embed for some reason :idk:

How much was it?

I don't really see the need in buying pre bent stuff. Ok I haven't taken a soldering iron to my two casios yet but it's quite basic electronics from what I've read

I'm just horrible with soldering irons. I start off slow, then it dawns on me, "when I finish this I'll have an awesome box full of awesome sauce." Then I turn up the heat on the soldering iron and fry all the components. No matter how much I try to be patient, I always get way too excited and kill it. I killed two of those Devi kits and a crybaby before I said enough was enough

Otherwise I would have waited for this guy to release his bends, which is something he's been planning on doing since he began circuit bending.

It was about $150 all said and done. I would have gone for a spunkytoofers sk-1($300 :whoa: ) but for that kind of money I think I'd have more fun with a cosmichorus.

It has 2 cutoff filters and one "attack" filter, note hold, rhythm squanker, two overdrive distortions, and one pitch modulator. I'm slowly accumulating gear for an ambient guitar, ala mogwai, combined with industrial 90's techno project. No matter what the outcome it'll be fun at least.

eBay and lots of waiting. These pop up two or three times a year on there, but you have to look on eBay UK.
