Cool man, I had one of those fish years ago. Same colour even. I don't know what happened to him, just vanished out of the tank!
Though I assume he leapt out at some stage and the cat ate him.

This is the ginger humming bird eater. Not really mine, he was abandoned and lives wild but adopted us when we moved in. I'm horribly allergic to cats, but I like em anyway and having an outdoor cat is the best compromise (except when he gets into fights with the raccoons and has to stay indoors for a week til the stitches take -- that was no fun for anyone
).
Sometimes he brings pedals in from the woods to pay his way ...

Thanks! He's a rescue, and we think he's mostly lab with a little bit of shepherd. If your brother's pup is fluffier, I'm guessing its a golden retriever?
