The instrument that every asshole with a 7(or 8)-string really wishes he was playing.

Of course it has. Os makes good pedals. And most people are more than willing to put up with an unreliable fucking flake as long as they make good gear (look how much everyone sucks Schumann's dick).
Look, I have no personal problem with Os. i've owned two of his pedals and really digged them. But that is twice now in the last couple years that the fucker has had something happen in his personal life, and he just shut down like a fucking 6-year-old rather than deal with problems.
On a wider note, what is the deal with pedal builders? Why do so many of them have a turbulant life full of episodes, drama, and general bullshit blowing in and out of their personal lives so much? Get your fucking act together before you start a business (and make sure that you're the type of person who can deal with emergencies if they come up).
Even some builders I really like tend to just have shit happen in their lives, more than any people I personally know. Of course, I tend to avoid (or weed out of my life) having personal interactions with people whose lives are neverending trainwrecks of drama and misfortune.

Re: Talk Bass Treehouse and Water cooler
I agree with every point that SLM and the bigchief. Dick Sucking is for sure and I made it a point to call Os out on the carpet while the coddling was in progress. Someone on TB felt compelled to PM urging me not to join in on the pile on (after I already started it). I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he was trying to keep Os from shying away because of too much negativity since he had a dog in the race, but in the end I ignored him.
Os needs to man up and except responsibility and honestly,....Os' effects might be good but they don't blow me (aha grilled cheese = a keeper) so I have no problems writing him off and taking my business elsewhere. There are too many other builders that actually stand behind their work (T. Livingston and Spencer! come to mind). Os needs to know that people won't stand by him if he doesn't stand by himself and his work ethic. I'm glad he finally came to the table,...but my beef is that twice now he has gone AWOL. I bought a pedal from him and sold it,...I know it's out of my hands but I'll feel real bad if that Electronix pedal I sold breaks down and the guy can't get a warranty repair because Os has dropped off the face of the earth x3. It may or may not be the case but if that scenario were to play out I feel like that is just as much of a bad reflection of ME as a seller as well as bad reflection of the builder.
Os has got some work to do,...but the prospect of being ignore or dismissed in the future has scared me away from ever doing business with the guy.
Oh and I never saw the appeal of the PLL,...yeah judging from Grgryx vid it's a noise pedal,....but I get plenty of noise out of my existing fuzz pedals without the pricetag, or drama.

Re: Talk Bass Treehouse and Water cooler
Sorry this has become the Talk Bass Treehouse and Vent thread, there really isn't a whole lot of venting that you can do on TB without drawing the attention of the ban hammer.

I never cared for any of the clips of any of Os stuff so I never cared.. Although I did think the way he treated his customers was beyond fail, sure shit happens, but when you take orders and money...[he did right? like I said I never fallowed]
