If I may add my $0.02...It seems that this event is causing two central problems.
1.) it's making the U.S. look really horrible in front of the Muslim world, as if they needed any more ammo against us.
2.) It's making Christians (like myself) look like bigotted idiots in front of everybody else..in our own country, I might add.

Just my opinion..but I felt this point should be brought up..
And, yes, I realize my points are rather obvious..just felt I shouldn't keep silent.

I encourage anyone that's interested to look into this guy's past. He started at least one church before this one, and they kicked him out. Yes, he was kicked out of the church that he founded. Why? He used church funds to pay off some of his own debt. What a guy!

Sounds like he'll go far in his chosen field.

It's sad, really, that there are 50 people who are so frightened of the world, frightened for their lives, their souls, their destiny, whatever, enough to follow this guy, and that he is so manipulative that he can do this and live with himself. I am not Christian, but have no problem believing that their is a greater judgment waiting for this guy at the end of the road.

The all share the same diety (Yahweh, Allah, God the Father, etc are all the same)

Christianity and Islam are both breakoff groups from Judaism

Judaism believes in several prophets, in addition to Moses.
Christianity believes that Jesus was more than just a prophet, they believe he was the messiah that was prophesied in the Old Testament. That is why he was crucified (claiming to be the messiah and son of God is pretty blasphemous)
Islam also believes that Moses, Noah, Jesus and all of the guys from the bible were also prophets. They just think that Mohammed was the most important prophet.

Maybe i'm out of line but isn't Christianity,Islam, and Judaism basically the same religion interpreted differently? People need to get over it and stop being dicks to each other about it. No one knows anything about any sort of life after death so what's the point of bashing people ideas/ arguing over something you can't back up or prove?
