I read in this article that Aaron Turner used model T:s for Isis duing the period I am most into with them. I always assumed that he always used the VHT pitbulls but apparently that is not the case. Even more shocked that Panopticon may have been pedals. I also found that he had a Boogie mk. IV (from the same article) and a Mesa Formula pre (that he sold via HH) but nothing more about using distortion pedals. Some guys on harmony central 18 years ago mentioned seeing Mesa V-Twins but I don't find anything about him using them before. No photos of him using any distortion pedals that I can find (excluding a LAL fuzz, it's not it)
Is there anyone here still well versed in the recording of Panopticon that can answer? I have checked out Discipline and Punish from the library.
