I will one-up your apparent lack of creativity by simply quoting your post because we share the same age. Booyah.

Fun fact: I have driven 5 hours to see Ween, then 5 hours back home.

Twice.

Four months apart.

The farthest I've driven for a concert was 4 hours each way for Lollapalooza when I was 17. Luckily, most bands usually end up coming closer than that (Boston tends to be a standard stop)

Gull durned. One... wait... I just typed "gull durned" and neither of them were underlined like with red "You Spelt That Shit Rong" redline. But for "rong", yes. And "gull" I understand. As in seagull. But "durned"? Durn. "Durn" works too.

Welp.

Anyway... aaaaaaaand I forgot what I was going to post. Ah yes... one of my favourite bands, Autolux, played in Detroit on Sunday night. Yes, I had to work, but that's 45 minutes away for one of my favorite bands ON THE WHOLE PLANET. I guess if their new album was better I would have hoofed it. And speaking of HOOFS, I once got the night off to see Deerhoof at the Magic Stick (same place that Autolux played on Sunday night [by the way, I have seen Autolux three times... once I drove from Grand Rapids, Michigan to New York City at the Bowery Ballroom to see them]), and then the night came and I was like "Fuck yeah, Adult Swim and beer."

I thus did-like sit on my damn couch.

C

p.s. Did end up seeing Deerhoof at the Blind Pig in Ann Arbor a few years ago... WHOA. Right before "Runners Four" came out... their asses was PRIME.
