I'm going to Austin in September. I'm hoping Music Makers will still have some FH(fx) in stock... If the black Ab-Synth is still there I might have to take it home with me.

I still haven't made it down to MM (since they got FH) and I live here  . It's my least visited music store, it's downtown, where I am not, and I have no car. Failure.

It happens... What are the other good music stores? I won't have too much time, so I'll probably be limited to just one or two.

Lucky for you, the better ones (including MM) are all on the same street. Cash America pawn right next to MM, Austin Vintage, and S Austin Guitars are all on S Lamar within a few blocks of each other.

Well that's good to hear! I'll see how many I can convince my girlfriend to visit  She's usually pretty goodhearted about these sort of things, but after a while it turns into this :whateva: and I'm still like  and then half an hour later she's all  and then I'm like sorry, but :ilf: and then she summons this guy using magical powers :success: and then I'm like  and its time to go.

I just spent a week out in Montana earlier this month. We were out in the mountains camping for most of it, but I did get to spend a few days in Bozeman and Big Sky. What a gorgeous area!! I can't wait to go back some day and spend a longer visit.

Why do I feel like I've seen this before? Missoula?

Here is a "Panoramic" of Downtown Spokane I made using the stitch function on Windows Live.

Image

The neighborhood I live is adjacent west to downtown. If the trees in the left foreground weren't there you'd probably be able to see it.

Haha. It's Montreal.
That panoramic shot of Spokane is shockingly similar to what you would see if you stood on top of the mountain at the centre of Montreal, looking east.

Ahhh, Montreal. It's been far too long since I last stumbled down St. Catherine's.

AHHH,...I should have noticed the not quite American street signs (and MOUNT REAL), but "somewhere under the looming cross" describes a lot of the podunk tiny towns that dot Montana, North Idaho, Eastern Washington.
