Those are the same 3 people who don't like you HT.

TBFX has gotten boring, the same Muff and VT threads over and over again.
There seems to be a reluctance to try any thing new or different.

A while back there was the flavor of the month thing going on like TGP and other forums where every body had to have the newest best fuzz, wah, distortion or what ever out there.
Of course the BS&T had them all for sale the very next week LOL.
But it was interesting.

My biggest complaint is the “I think I got ripped off and this looks like a fake” threads by the Craig’s list/ EBay police.
Half the photos in those are like those surveillance footage things you see on the news where the criminal is a grey blur.

Oh well what can you do?

Lately it's been the signal to noise ratio in TBFX that I'm becoming disenfranchised with [behndy's colorful posts excluded]. Take the PYPB threads for example. You used to be able to go down a page and there would be 9 or 10 pics of pedalboards on them. Now you can go through 2 or 3 pages of banter before you get to a quoted picture from a previous post 5 pages prior.

Except that Behndy is the biggest abuser of the PYPB thread. Every other non-picture post is his. Not that he isn't somewhat entertaining, but sometimes I just want to actually have a serious gear conversation, or look at a bunch of pedal pr0n without asinine OT interjections.

I can get on board with this,...I do a lot of glossing over his posts but the odd one that I read; afterward I'm usually like WTF was that, giggle and continue on.

I don't really want to get into bad mouthing TB mods suffice it to say that things seem to becoming really lax over there. Lax moderation I think is fine here since it's such a small board but I remember a time on TB where you'd get infractions for all those asinine OT interjections.

Who is actually moding TBFX anyway? I keep waiting for grygrx to lay down the law on the OT in the board thread, and so I egg Behndy on every now and then... I know I'm bad... But a few threads ago grygrx didn't let any OT in that thread :idk:

Talkbass isn't really my crowd. There's a lot of great people there, though. I'm just into different things... active basses, bass big muffs, etc all kinda bum me out. (Ok, sometimes active basses are awesome).

I don't always play active basses, but when I do, they're RD Artists.

I love it over here. I'm sick of the random PMs over on TB "Hey I see you here all the time, what do you think I should do in [insert random case] or what should I get for [insert tone]" Where 19/20 answers are "do a search, play a P-bass with a pick and call it good, try it yourself, or read Bongomania's shit."

I rather enjoy Behndy's banter. I'm guilty for encouraging him. But he makes me laugh. But the most recent PYPB (that I started) seems to be going quicker than any I've seen before.

I like you guys over here better, for the most part :)
Quite a few builders (Ryan of Fuzzrocious, Spencer of 3leaf) are on there, a poor attempt at wanting to be ILF

No, that's the dude from Young Widows.

But, I get the feeling I'm the only one that reads the other forums. Has anyone seen this?
