that's an intriguing piece of work. it looks like a Rickenbacker 330 had a baby by a Martin electric with Dynas in the "Jetsons" covers.

yes, but I wanna use'em - the Dynasonics in my FMIC Duo Jet aren't wound like the real deal (they run about 7-8k). I've thought about putting them in the Duo Jet, and I probably should just do that, but I actually really like the way it sounds now, and the Martins would look a little off kilter (it's a '57-alike from the run just before they put out the essentially identical George Harrison sig. I've also thought about tossing them in a G5129 in place of the 2000s, but I've heard they can sound a little woofy in a hollowbody, and they also seem a bit "above" an Electromatic, so I've kinda stayed in a holding pattern. idk, if they could fetch me enough to put me over the top into an ES-225, I'd probably sell'em, but as inflated as the prices are on these, I can't see that happening....

What I've really been thinking is how they would sound in a decent thinline hollowbody - but the neck wouldn't fit on a Casino or ES-330.... Anyway, I'm putting 'em into something by years end, so we shall see.... :snax:
