Is that a Tele-Sonic? I was bidding on James Iha's to win, then fell asleep as people sniped it out of my hands.
Went for a pretty cool price too!-

Thanks! That guitar was built and given to a friend of mine 10-15 years ago, and then later given to me when he left for the services. That was about 2 & 1/2yrs ago. I cleaned it up, and eventually changed the pickguard and pickups out. Red tortoise shell with mini bucker in the neck and single sized bucker in the bridge. Left the other pickups, pots, switch, etc all together so I can just swap them out in like 10 minutes if I wanted. Was time for a change

Me too! Its a Sears 40xl/Silvertone 1422 (tube version). That amp, along with my bass one, and any other similar ones that people here have, deserve their own thread. I'll make that here shortly
.I probably should have just posted this pic for my guitars
My bass is hiding.

Re: Let's see your GUITAR!
Plugged this in for the first time in ages this week:

I've had this since 2001. I fell in love with it all over again the other day. Bit muddy in tone, and the pots need cleaning or replacing altogether (seeing as I'm looking to brighten the tone a little anyway), but after a spell playing Teles, this made for a nice change of pace. Maybe next year, I might get a proper Gibson...

People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey... stuff.
