Well... apparently

Post by qersty »

I'm gassing like crazy for this pedal, have been for some years, actually. Seems like it is MY chawrus instead of having to conform to the backwards design of some David Gilmour wannabe. Thing is tho I never see them in the wild tho and well, one on ebay now for $350 ...in japan, pretty nuts. Did Ryan even make that many? Need to know if I should give up and just feed my CE-2 induced vitriol til I die or become like one of those MF DOOM-worshipping wasps with a warped vinyl. Could get a v2 also but you know it's not the same :grumpy:

Nah, they aren't super easy to get.
I think Ryan made 100 or 200. They didn't sell like hotcakes iirc and it was a crazy hard build for Ryan. Back then I think the market wasn't ready for pedals in its price range, outside of the Eventide/Strymon stuff.

But they do pop up and don't get snatched up super quick so you should be able to find one for a reasonable price if you're patient.
In the meantime, the EQD Sea Machine is pretty good.

Hey, i thought i have seen it somewhere recently so i went on a brief search and i was right: there's one for sale in France, not sure if the guy is willing to ship overseas but i bought a couple of times from that buy/sell used instruments website, so just threw him a message anyway, will let you know.

Dude wtf thanks, didn't expect that as a response. Probably no issue whatsoever getting it up here if they are down with it. The french postal service has always been nice to me

Just messaged the french guy about shipping here. I hope there won't be a language barrier cause I don't think shipping to sweden could be an issue.

Dual wielding cosmichoruses must be awesome, dual wielding most choruses is awesome so two cosmis must be really awesome

Cosmichorus is killer. I have used it for years.
True stereo analog chorus has never been so common.
It takes a bit of time to find the setting(s) which will match you the best (compared to a CE2), but it is the holy grail !
