not loving it thus far, but I've only done the first mission.
it lags w/ me a bit, anyone else experiencing this?

Starcraft? it took ten years to do a second version? Or is this something else with the same name. I remember thinking it sucked [along with the first two WOWs] compared of games of it's type... Or is it like WOW were they turned it into "whatever"... eh I really don't care, I don't game anymore...I haven't in years after I figured out how much time I actually spent playing Civilization :grumpy:

I'll be picking it up soon I think. I kinda feel like the whole split into three parts thing is a bit of a ripoff but if its just the campaign section you're missing I suppose it wont be too bad. You can still play as Zerg/Protoss in skirmish and multiplayer yes?

i've never played starcraft before, but everyone else is excited so i feel i should be too. i'll probably get it soon as it looks pretty cool

I spent a good portion of freshman and sophomore year of college playing Starcraft, so I am psyched, but we'll see how much time I actually have to play it this time around. I was always more of a Diablo guy anyways :joy:

Me too!!!

Diablo III will probably be out within the next decade: http://us.blizzard.com/diablo3/ And the wikipedia page said that game development started in 2001 :facepalm:

My buddy's all stoked on StarCraft 2 but I'm still holding out for Diablo 3.

Diablo 3 looks so awesome. I was always a bigger fan of the Baldurs Gate and Icewind Dales series' back in the day but I like the Blizzard stuff is always compatible on Mac and PC. Get both!

I have my BG collection just collecting dust because I'm on a mac now...

But anyone here still have their Diablo 2 games? I'm futuresailors on US East... :hello:

Last I heard D3 was supposed to be a Holiday release this year...or next summer. :idk:

yeah there are some really cool missions. i liked the one with the waves of zombies and the first of those crystal missions.

fantastic game but i have no idea how they spent 12 years making this... what did they spend all that time doing, it definitely wasn't the characters or the story, and the graphics are really nice but they must've been done in the last 2-3 years. i just can't understand how this game took so long to make
