Re: Best Pre-Dirt Verb?
The other EQD reverbs were already mentioned, but personally I use Levitation pre dirt. On my larger board it's RM-1N

+1 to Afterneath and Levitation
I also like Spring Tanks pre dirt. Especially if you keep lots of the high end sproing and clank and cut some of the bass of the signal it pushes distortion really nicely

I think belton brick-based verbs are the best choice for this, or something with a pre-delay control.

I came here to say Dunk Tank. Especially when it's cranked up, because it adds boost!Snufkino wrote:I think belton brick-based verbs are the best choice for this, or something with a pre-delay control.

I copied the circuit just to check it out and it was pretty nice. I think they're sub $100, yeah? Def not a bad option for a nice little pre-dirt virb.julius_deane wrote:I came here to say Dunk Tank. Dunk Tanks are around $130 when they pop up. Kind of wish I hadn't sold mine, but I have plenty of verb.
I've been using the Ocean's 11 in this spot lately.
