Yeah it worked out quite well last time. I just got like 10 of those nice 6" cube boxes at Wal-Mart.

Going on holiday leave in July. Might have a hardware proto ready in late August. Been optimizing the underlying grain synth code. Might be able to cram in a mode where half the grains are +1 octave and the other half -1 octave. That could be indicated with both the "-" and "+" lights active at the same time. Could be fun i guess! ??

I would love that. When I had an Organelle, my favorite thing was the granular freezer and I would give the grains a wide range and it was great.

Some progress!


SMD circuitboard (minus the header pins) for easy pre-fab in case I decide to make a few. The orange lettering is untreated exposed copper. Apparently it will oxidate to a light green color over time (like a copper statue). Haven't yet tested any of the new software. Will probably have the hardware ready this month and start testing software stuff once that's ready. Production maybe November or next year.
