So, unless the world starts breeding more rad folks, I'm fine with the level ILF is currently at. The b/s/t is the single most dangerous thing to my bank account, next to the Gear page. The General board is nothing but lulz. And, most of all, it's all about being yourself. I used to really think hard about what others would say about my posts on TalkBass (are they gonna think I'm an idiot? will I just be called an unprofessional musician? do I really give a shit?). But, on ILF, I've learned that I can pretty much say what I feel (see the spiteful and counterproductive thread), and probably SOMEONE will agree with me. And, if nobody does, NOBODY REALLY GIVES A SHIT ANYWAY! It's the internets! Not serious business.

The size kinda seems to make it more active in a way as since it's not too big it's more comprehensive, if you want you can read all of the new posts and keep up pretty well where as if you tried to do that with other forums you would get completely lost. Um and every other music gear forums i've been on is full of dicks or lame old people. People seem to be cooler here ,have similar interests, and pick similar poisons?
