Yeah I heard that the line wasn't really well received. I had played a few of them in stores when they first came out and really loved the feel of them. I was kind of surprised to hear that they were a bit of a flop.

Here's the one I just picked up along with my current pedalboard. I'm thinking of moving the Transmisser over to my guitar or synth board and replacing it with a simple delay.

I always thought those looked neat! I'd be temped if it wasn't for the fact it isn't a V shape... How's the output on that pickup?

It seems pretty hot, buy I'm not sure I really have anything I can compare it to. It's definitely a lot hotter than my other basses, which have PJ or single coils

I've wanted to try one for a bit. Don't need another bass but... New stuff?

Have played a couple of those Dimensions and they seem legit, and as someone else pointed out, sold for pretty cheap usually. There's an Ibanez bass that looks vaguely similar to those that I liked a lot when I tested it out...can't remember the name/model.

Oh I just realised after some googling they're active. Interest dead which is probably good.

I saw them compared to the Ibanez ATK series a few times when I was researching it. Could be one of those?

The Dimension bass? They're not all active; I believe they offered both active and passive. The one I got isn't.

Yeah that looks really slick in B/W. :)* It's a great 70's type body shape which is "in" so yeah I don't get it either.

Hey I think you're right! It was either that or the Talman. Leaning towards the ATK. It was last year when I was visiting Nashville. Good price at a pawn shop, but I left it behind.

Yeah there was a couple at good prices around here, but they were both active so I passed on them
