According to one of the developers of the Rose:
We're currently taking pre-orders for a limited production run at $349. We'll see where we go from there.

Pre-orders in March.

There's a modified sine, square wave, random walk, and an envelope follower. You can also directly modulate the delay line using a knob or the expression pedal.

Since the sample rate is directly modulated, the maximum delay time is related to the sample rate. At the highest sample rate, you have 10 seconds of delay time. At the lowest sample rate, you can get 50 seconds of delay time.

the expression pedal can control everything, and the hotswitch has tons of flexible options (including infinite repeat and the ability to quick-switch between sounds),

in addition to getting up to 50 sec of delay, it can go to sub-millisecond delays (so you can get some really cool flanging and comb filtering sounds). The mod rate won't get quite up into audio rate, but it does go from glacially slow to really choppy and fast. The mod depth goes really deep (it will shift up to an octave).

No-nos:
No DIN MIDI, only USB MIDI and TRS MIDI through the expression pedal jack.

Oof. The original Radical Delay is my favourite digital delay probably ever. Might need to pick one of these up, although I feel like buying a third Radical Delay variant might be going a bit overboard. It might be time to stop buying Radical Delays, hmmm. Thanks for posting.

I had already been considering blue painters tape but your idea is better.

Even if it's purple, I don't really like it. It doesn't look that ugly either but I get where that bias is coming from.

Will need to use more filters on my IG when I post pics of my board mmm.

Yeah, that is definitely falling into the category of "pedals I would not buy due to aesthetics, even if I really wanted them due to functionality"
Seriously. That is one of the ugliest pedals I've ever seen. Looks like someone designed a pedal for 90s Xtreme Rock Barbie and then made it human size.

So many cool delays and reverbs from smaller builders. So little true stereo operation. :(

What is the new Walrus (Amelia?)---feedbacker/swell/white noise generator? That's supposed to be unveiled on Monday.

RKFX is teasing at least 2 new pedals. I'd like to see an expanded Realizer with an expression port. :idk:

If that Eventide Rose faceplate pops off like it looks, then I'd expect some customized pedals coming shortly after launch. Even shitty spray bomb would be an improvement.

Faceplate opportunity right there.

I don't think I'm getting one but man I'm so excited to try it out!
