time for me to bitch about my car

Post by sevenSHARPnine »

so i have a '99 chevy suburban. great car. when it actualy works.

in january i replaced 2 power steering hoses. in february i replaced the radiator. then the transmission goes out. 5 months later when i finally have the money to rebuild the tranny, i have to replace my gear cable. after the tranny/cable goes in, it needs a new battery. oh, and then i need new tires.

so the new tires go on last week.

after the new tires are on, my suspension felt a little rough, and it was squeaking. looks like i need new upper and lower control arm bushings.

and tonight, MY ALTERNATOR WENT OUT.

buying 'merican rules and alternators eventually die no matter what make.that is a quick fix that you can get done within 2 hours if you do it yourself.
just take your old one to your parts store and make sure its dead/ trade in the core and get a refurbished one with a warranty.

Try owning a ‘60s muscle car.
I spent most weekends under the car or under the hood.

Dude if you have to repair the transmission, then why not get a different car used? Better than sinking more money into a car that just keeps breaking.
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?

Well, driving his car off a cliff will certainly solve some of his problems. He sure won't be worrying about mechanic's bills (or anything else) any more  :p

Sometimes cars and other things that break make me want to drive off a cliff while still inside my car
