Out of curiosity, I actually googled, like, "how to play jazz keyboards" and it was all, learn to read music, learn all the scales, learn the inversions and alternate voicings of every chord and blah-de-blah-de-blah. So I watched this instead:

It went surprisingly well! My friends who I played with were into it. I only got the "take it down a notch" gesture once when I had a loop chunnering away.
I did a drone-y intro to "Blue Hawk" and had this cool stuttering thing going in "Green Chimneys". I kept this one voice-of-god type aaaaaahhhhhhh going in "Reflections" which I thought was over the top, but my friend playing clarinet was totally into it. A few dub piano plinks.
It was really interesting to think about the structure of the music in a way that I rarely do, and an interesting challenge to look at the charts in real time and try and figure out where everyone else was in the piece. To say nothing of trying to think on my feet enough to try and grasp what I could add that didn't musically clash.
When I was younger there was no way I would have been audacious enough to try something like, never mind feel mostly okay to offer ideas, so it was pretty positive.
I recorded some audio from the set that I haven't done anything with yet.

Impossible to sound like Monk anyway. So, why try? Might as well make it your own take on Monk.
