The new channel sounds like heaven. Definitely a vast improvement. :thumb:

So Newie, why don't you let us fill your pockets with cash right now?

NW, dude, I think you need to brace yourself for an onslaught of orders. That sound, with the Laura Bennett paint job and all, just might make this pedal the next fingerprint. Especially if batches will be made available at FH as they are produced instead of making everyone get on a silly 6 month waiting list, Tom might see these things sell out even faster than TAFMs (if that's possible?). Once the hype makes its way over to the TGPers its over, man.

he's got a KLON and he doesn't afraid of anything

i am really looking forward to this one. not just because Newark is building it, and Tommy helped tweak it.

but from the news i have heard, this is gonna combine the dynamic goodness of a discrete transistor circuit with that tight op amp distortion :joy:

Sounds like it's gonna pick up where the Fingerprint leaves off, in the higher gain ranges.... It also seems to have it's own very cool thing goin' on, across the entire gain spectrum. But then, we expected that. The Snowdrift and Fingerprint are going to make a great, complimentary pair....

I think this is a nice, evolutionary step for the FP circuit/sound/design
The second footswitch on the old one was just gravy really, an extra feature thrown in because it was possible, but not entirely useful in the traditional sense
Seemed like it'd be great for freakouts
This new design however, built with the second mode in mind, seems a lot more 'usable' and practical in that mode 1 is simply regular gain, and mode 2 is super gain
Could just simplify that and say mode 1 is the rhythm channel, and mode 2 is the lead channel in the traditional sense, but I'd feel that'd be doing it injustice and misrepresenting its application in practice
