I went last year. I played a few pedals and mostly ended up talking to Scott (mtl.asm) for a couple of hours about ILF, time travel movies and other stuff. I also unknowingly met digitechrep too. Some companies had deals if you bought pedals. I think there was free beer too but most SXSW events have free booze.
