Jazz Chorus Footswitches
Bit of a newbie question here. My JC-40 manual says I can use a BOSS FS-5L for the chorus effect. But, near as I can tell, anything that can do on/off should in principle suffice. Is there any reason I can't use a BOSS FS-1, or maybe something even simpler/cheaper? What should I be looking for to know that it'll work with my chorus effect?

Re: Jazz Chorus Footswitches
What you want is a standard latching (on/off only) footswitch, not "momentary.
That's all it says in that.
Standard Echoplex/Space Echo/etc style on-off should work providing the unit has 1/4" jacks (my Jazz Chorus is 30-something years old, so I don't have a current one!)
