I've been getting back into the SNES lately after picking up the SNES mini console. Got wireless controllers for it and now it's modded with an extra 40 or so games. Being able to enjoy the SNES without having to repeatedly ram the carts in/out & blowing on them, using wireless controllers and being able to save at any point is soooo good.

I also have an Atari 2600, a GCE Vectrex, Dreamcast, Saturn and and PSX consoles. The only things hooked up right now are the PS4, SNESmini and about 15 Arcade games downstairs.

I couldn't deal with the constant footstep noises, but otherwise that game is awesome. There should be a remake.

I had the same reaction to the steps initially. But it seems like the character you control get scared in the games sometimes? Because the footsteps get quicker and you run faster when you’re in the “violence district”, when something’s chasing you, or when you’re having a “downer” experience. So the footsteps add a weird element of suspense?

Sometimes it just plays extremely 90’s music videos with no warning.

I love this game.
