Re: Secret Satan 2017 (What’s in the Box?)
Glad you like it all Vid. The purple box is made by Analog Systems which is a guy I work with who does a lot of sequencers and other synth type stuff. It's a one off and all hand made.
The Fuzzhugger currently is a one off as well. It's point to point by Tom just for you. He may make a few more, don't know if he has yet. It's made to be it's own instrument like the purple guy. However, I'm sure you can use it with a guitar or bass as well.
The pocket toy was too hilarious to pass up. Jack and I (Dropping Acid) had been talking about doing something similar and then Magpie out of nowhere did that. I contacted him, we laughed a lot and then I had him send it to you.
The book is one of my favorites and pretty gruesome. I'm not sure if you'll dig it, but I figured I want to share a piece of myself with you. Haha. Richard Laymon is one of my favorite authors of all time. You'll either love it or hate it. Hopefully you'll love it.
Sealab, I mean, who doesn't need that? Right?
The rest is just good stuff for fun. The album I knew you wanted.
Merry Satanmas.

Holy shit, y'all. I got my second package today and opened them both. I'll have to take pics this afternoon, but DRod outdid himself. Thank you so much man.
Cherry Whisky, coffee, lots of art, a She Shreds hoodie, some pins, a Ricochet, and a Rainger FX tiny fuzz thing. Oh, and an electric Uke that my youngest daughter ran off with almost immediately.
Feeling loved, for sure.

No miku, this one was of the russian muff variety. Also this one actually is fretted correctly so it stays in tune with other instruments.oldangelmidnight wrote:Did he do a Mikulele again?

T (and Cooper) hooked it the fuck up with an outward, gen loss, and a Deluxe Memory Boy. And a super cool cookbook about CO beer. And a mic. And syrup. I am beyond hyped.
I'll post a pic soon, I feel so fucking lucky this holiday season. This package made my fucking day. 10 hours of travel to get straight into my work kitchen and find a lovely package waiting from me. Beyond stoked to have these amazing pedals.
I went modular crazy and sold my Outward like a jackoff just a few months back. One of those "fuck I wish I didn't sell that" as soon as I put it in a box to ship. I actually put aside the money from the sale to buy another when they were available. This was the best.
Glad RW digs the Tape+ and hot sauce/dumb shirt/pentagram tapestry/cassettes/book. This was my first year as a Satan and it couldn't have made me feel any fuzzier.
Thanks to this community in general. What a bunch of good cunts.

This is my favourite part of ILFSS, or gift giving in general! Where you make an educated guess at whether something would fit a person, but it really shows something about yourself rather than just ticking a box on a wishlist. Super cool jwar!Jesus Was a Robot wrote:I'm not sure if you'll dig it, but I figured I want to share a piece of myself with you. Haha. Richard Laymon is one of my favorite authors of all time. Re: Secret Satan 2017 (What’s in the Box?)
Yeah bud talk about getting a gold star
Well done, Ant (+well deserved first score on your end! I miss my Gen Loss but will better cope thanks to the Tape T+)
I am grateful for your gambles (backing up goroth's sentiment on educated guesses)
The box of loot I received is a balanced blend of whimsy & dark spiciness. Made me well up a bit before even tasting the goodies...pls elaborate on the homemade sauces
Good gamble on the JJ tape, its an album I don't think I otherwise own in any physical format. Had a ridic celeb crush on her in the mid 90s...that Rolling Stone cover was burnt in my adolescent brain

The other 2 have a great aesthetic and presentation, I dig them already and they'll be part of my NYE-NYD mix.
The tapestry is epic. It is surprisingly large, when I can hang it I'll share the result, however I may have just found a new cover for my tabletop rig when not in use...and a ritual rug to build upon when in use
Ritual Rug. That...has a nice ring to it for a project. Things are starting to make sense again.
Except for the the rune-like block with the face on it. ????? in any event TYVM

It was intensely weird to record myself doing this. That moment when I realize I won't be able to keep talking with the cookie in my mouth. Accompanying notes indicate it's a Coque de Dinant and not meant to be bitten; you've got to suck on that cat.
The USB drive did, indeed, reveal all.
David tells me the CD is one of his favorites. He also included some music files of things he likes that might be otherwise unavailable. I love that personal touch.
I didn't realize upon originally opening but the Molecular Disruptor is actually a prototype for a new version. The momentary hi/lo switch looks like a genius feature.
The wires are accompanied by a nice introduction to programming for the Spin chip and instructions for how to update the pedal. This is another of those unknowingly perfect ILFsmas miracles. I've been interested in learning programming for audio for a while but I never wanted to spend the money to put together a setup for it. I'm so excited to see what I can do with it and the Molecular Disruptor seems like the perfect hardware base to get started.
David, I'm sorry if I was a challenge to you. I'm very happy with this gift.

Laughed so hard when you bit into that cookie! That's one tough cookie (huehuehue).
New Molecular Disruptor looks siiiiick! The PICkit 2 is a great tool as well! Happy coding!

Re: Secret Satan 2017 (Ship the Goods)
Glad everything made it in one piece. I packed the second box hoping it could withstand small arms fire. I got the green scooby pedal last year as an aside to the normal ILFSS because ILF is the best. Figured I would pass it on, it is a pretty gnarly trem. I forgot to pack one item so expect that sometime after the holidays.popvulture wrote:Sooooo I opened mine and my SS left his real name in the note, no screen name... he did include a Scooby Doo pedal that I knew I'd seen before on here, so I decided to do a bit of searching and pretty quickly came up with it:
So I'm guessing my SS is Aquietcabin1978?! He also gave me a bunch of sweet loot and an Expert Sleepers Disting (yayyyyyy)! EXCELLENT JOB, MANgoroth wrote:Iirc (correct me if I'm wrong) that Scooby trem is a piece of ILF history.Aquietcabin1978 wrote:My ILFSS loots continue their trip across the Atlantic by sea going vessel. Through no fault of anyone involved. Anyway. When I got home I had a box waiting but not the one I was expecting. This one return addressed to oldangelmidnight. Opened it to find a scooby doo trem pedal, a righteous looking beer and some chocolate. The note was essentially thanking me for the patience while the shipping runs it's course on the stuffs from my satan. Totally rad and appreciated. Wanted to share the love. I know the wait is way tougher on my satan than it is for me, so don't sweat it yo. Honestly not too worried about it, the world is an imperfect place. Very cool either way. Apologies if the pic is hyuuuge![]()

Psyched to have an ILF pedal that's made the rounds... this whole things makes me all mushy. Love this and all y'all
I will have to try and snap some pics of my loots. Phone is busted at the moment. Satan sent along some snacks that my wife and daughter snagged as I opened it, we are originally from the metro Detroit area and are fans of the better made brand for sure. Also sent along a Pelican Pelitaur. I wasn't hip to this one as I don't really follow new fuzz pedals these days. Thought it was legit a klone and was confused at first. Actually it is a dual parallel fuzz joint. Been a busy week but will clean the dust off my amps and guitar and see how it wails. We'll also see how it likes getting donkey punched by a beat box.
Simple, unexpected, Hail Satan!!
Also Xero, if you get the ring mod/ trem thingie working post some pics/clips. Sounds Rad.
