I’m super curious what it feels like.

Is it similar to a welcome mat?

The final one is actually made from a coated poly carbonate so it's similar feel to glass. It's what riot shields or high end lenses for glasses are made from. The main reason is that the PVC + natural rubber version we tried was flexible, but people would then fold it, which would break it, so I needed to make a non-foldable version. The poly carbonate is really sturdy, though scratches easily without the coating. If you look for Lexan mr10 on YouTube you can see coated Poly Carbonate in action, by which I mean videos of engineers hitting it with an axe... :)

I definitely don't want antiquated Soviet tanks.

My pedalboard costs approximately 191 Metal Zones.
