Ha, right after that I did say it was still a pretty dick move. I don't agree with what he did at all—it was super shitty. I did look like he wasn't thinking about what he did. Irresponsible and shitty, but not "I'm going to haul back and kick you in the face" sort of move. I'm not defending him, nor do I wanna argue semantics. Seems like he was at an event he didn't want to be at, got fucked up and did some pretty unfortunate shit. Regardless of his intent, he deserves to be called out on it.
Anyway, Homme's no stranger to any of this stuff. There's that incident you can find on YouTube where he says some pretty horrendously offensive shit to a kid in the audience—that was the first time I was like "hmm I love this guy's music but he definitely seems like a crazy asshole." But yep, as I suspected... it's very discussion worthy.
