Apparently, there's a 50 page build thread here (all the writing's in Swedish): https://www.garaget.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=291305&

Maybe he's got photos of it in there? I haven't looked through it all.

Watched that video the other day! Ran across it looking at those weird Ford rally cars. Saw another video of a dude doing donuts in that guy's shop's parking lot in a mitsu/Mopar joint car.

Found this for Chankgeez: https://www.hemmings.com/blog/2017/11/2 ... n-florida/

That tank Volvo is pretty dang cool.

Can't find it now, but there is a dude that is building a porche off a scale model with two Subaru Tribeca flat 6s bolted together into a flat 12.

That was a fun read...but the car is awesome. Love that the new owner is keeping it the way it is. Love that old ignition box and the t-bird tail lights.

Speaking of mustangs:

Also got some parts in...gotta take pictures, but they are full high ratio roller rockers from Oz Yella Terra and some bad ass headers made in Riverside County

Might be fun first motorcycles for city riding. :idk:

Kinda weird, I don't think I have posted in this thread before but caught this on youtube...

Electric Eight Six Drift build.... :omg: Really geeking out how stripped down it is with the huge battery packs in the back.

That's badass.
I want a little truck. An older Ford Ranger or Toyota Pickup. Mmmmm.
Or Nissan Hardbody. What a name.
Just a simple truck. Not a modern humongous LEGO block looking thing.

They look amazing.
My biggest concern is the carbon fibre frame and I already know that because of that, they won’t be sold in Australia as they probably won’t make design or material safety standards. And to be honest, I don’t trust a Chinese made carbon fibre gram to do the job.
But, I hope it goes well. I’ve been hoping for a rad looking and affordable electric bike to land and shake up the market and if thi builds momentum and if this thing makes waves it’ll definitely shake up the market and motivate bigger players to do cooler shit. Plus I’d like to see design improvements and more powerful motors on that model.
Could be very rad.

I actually went looking for the home page of that bike (where the pre orders are) and noticed they put no DOT or safety testing information which is required here for vehicle registration. I wonder if it is technically being sold as a bicycle? (Yea, if it was a motor vehicle they would have to get it passed test for each region...don't see any mention, nor do i think they could have afforded the certs/tests). Probably trying to sneak it in the same law's as golf carts.

The terrible English was also kind of bad.

I agree on the carbon fiber frame...I kinda glossed over that as "steel with carbon fiber" haha. I also know that anything that looks that sweet in a photo never does in person. The 5000 price tag is slightly high I think too....The big Japanese builders are still offering competitive motorcycles in the same power range for cheaper. (V-star 250 is 4400 MSRP)

I hope these take off too. Be nice to see something with the improvements and competition like you say Pope.

Still think they look bad ass and it was pretty cool for a Chinese factory to work with a Spanish designer and try to do something different.

Here's to hopefully some cool electric bikes!
