I've got a lo fi loop junky. No other pedals with it's combo of features out there as far as I know.

It will be 1 billion dollars, considering how many knobs there will be. I find it kind of silly that people have pushed for this so hard. The same effect can easily be achieved with a vibrato and a versatile overdrive. I did it all the time with my DMM+Timmy. Set Timmy to more compressed mode, take out lows, add a bit of dirt, voila. The pitch pirate has been around for a long time, and does this as well. The PP has a preamp in the circuit which introduces some grit, and a LPF. And again, compression and dirt go hand in hand.

I just don't see why such a simple goal has been made so complicated, and pricey

Yup...pitch pirate does the LFLJ sound very well in real time.

I love my Fuzz Factory with these settings V-5 o-clock,G-7,C-5,D-5,S-5. Nasty broken speaker sound and if I want to smooth it out C-2 o-clock or 3. This pedal has never left my board and at one time if I could keep one pedal it would have been my Fuzz Factory and my Mutron flanger and phasor. I know cheating but how can you have only one pedal.

I found a picture. one of the early ones. I found this on ebay years ago before I even knew what they were. Thats how I discovered Devi Ever pedals (Soda Meiser and Tri Fuzz).

Yup...pitch pirate does the LFLJ sound very well in real time.

Plus the wave knob can add additional losided warble
I always recommend it to people looking for a 'real time loop junkie', but I guess my voice goes unheard
only convinced one person so far to get one, and he loves it

On the topic, I enjoyed my ooh wah a lot when I had it
Very fun to lay down a bubbly progression with it, then play over it

Kind of like (not love)/hate with the fuzz factory

Been using a SHO (to be exact, a 2in1) lately as an on all the time, preamp sort of deal
adds a nice presence that I can't get by just turning up my treble

This is what lead me to buying a VB-2.

My favourite RIG evereverever is-

Tele (neck humbucker) > SHO > RAT > VB-2 - AD-900 > my old AC15 w/ accutronics reverb, buncha mods, NOS tubes etc.

That RAT+VB-2 combination got me into "Real time Lo Fi" territory.
