4k TVs. Doesn't have to cost a kidney
I'm looking for a 4k tv. Something for my bedroom. I'm thinking around the 49'' range. I had read some good reviews of the TCL P-Series. I'm looking to spend $700 max.

I know nothing about TV’s other than there are always a bunch of Black Friday deals on them.

I have a Sony that's 55", I think. It's a 4K HDR, so it cost a little more than that, but if you just go with the normal range option I think it'd be around that price range you're looking for. I highly recommend their TVs, and I've also known plenty of peeps who've had good luck with Samsungs.

Sony and Samsung > *. Below 50" though you'd have to ask if the screen is sharp enough to actually notice the difference 4k makes, so my best advice would be to go to a store and actually watch TVs, particularly live sports, since they tend to show how quick the screens respond to sudden movements and color changes.
