Anyone use Youtube and Adblockers?

I do. Well at least until recently. For whatever reason, if my adblocker is active, my youtube videos are just audio with a black screen.

Is youtube learning to block adblockers? Am I doomed to waste a few seconds for every video I want to watch?

Anyone else have any similar experiences? Possible fixes?

What browser do you use?
I have no issues with adblock on Chrome.

I use Chrome. I haven't had an issue until this past week. It's still a somewhat intermittent problem and doesn't always happen. Most of the time I just have to disable it for a couple videos before re-enabling it and it will work for awhile. The black screen has just been happening more and more lately

I've only noticed this happening to me if I try to watch certain channels, like interviews from late night tv shows or news clips.
I heard a lot of those network-run channels can use their own ads, not Adsense material or whatever most people use, so maybe there's an issue there?

Usually if I refresh a couple times it works.

Hmm this is definitely possible. The only time I've noticed it happening is bigger channels for sure.

I remember this happening to me, so I switched to the second most recommended adblocker and it resolved the issue. Adguard seems to work fine for me now.

all I know is this [youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gR28zbI7n6w[/youtube] and the one where the blonde boy is up against a wall whining that he cant master guitar commercial is all the commercials I ever get and it sucks...lol but for music, movies, & whatnot I can not find anywhere else, whatever.

Never had an issue with FF and Adblock Plus.
