Okay, the electric mistress I've heard has a Vol drop, then there's a mod with a capacitor and a resistor to level this but then some say it increases the wet, then the trim pots inside if turned too far can blow the voltage converter...soo has anyone had the deluxe, thoughts? On both if you have used them...I think their sound is perfect for what I want, but seem's I'd have to mod the fuck outa of em or maybe just, not the deluxe but original? Should i see if a builder could work with building a tweaked mistress circuit...indulgent birthday me gift idea...anyway, yuuup.

Im trying to figure out if I've been conditioned to perceive phase & flange as certain colours based on enclosure art or is it more than that and flange is purple turquoise and phase is green orange.......I want to hope there's something to this.....

The compartmentalization of our senses is a model that doesn't fully appreciate the interplay between our sensory organs and how our cognition interprets that information. So yes it's possible to "feel purple" when you hear flanging even if the only reason is you've seen flanging effects pedals painted purple. Emotional association is loose and weird.

maybe if you paint a four walled room one side purple and turquoise with a specific frequency pushing a certain flanger and the other side green and orange with a certain frequency pushing a phaser an interdimensional portal will rip the fabric of this reality and allow you to step threw, hopefully not sucked threw........

A fraction of the size and cost with comparable features and toanz. According to what I've read, there's a possibility the e-lady (or its earlier Mooer counterpart) can be run at 12V to correct any perceived volume drop, though I don't really hear one.

My favourite flanger of recent times is the SubDecay Quantum Starlight, which has some purple . . .



I foolishly sold it, so I'd like another one.

My current favourite phaser is my Mr Black Gilamondo, which is most definitely green.
