He will be greatly missed. A true Canadian icon.

Regarding mid show rants; I saw him sometime around my 19th birthday and it was literally one of the best concerts I have ever been to. I can still remember him, mid-song, half-talking half-singing to his microphone. Like literally just going on about how much he loves his microphone.
