PHASE OR FLANGE
always wanted that as a t-shirt, well...figured someone else would have made a phaser and flanger appreciation thread...if I over looked, its because search engine told me to come back later...so anyways, i flange, unless a phaser has such a long build up that its there but not there and when its there its there at the most appropriate time :p beyond 16 step
so ive been on a half assed quest for a while to find a certain flange sound,
its in these little vids and coming from my dsp crate gfx-20....think im obsessing over this sound too much because the only place I THOUGHT I heard it was on an episode of farscape where their traped in different dimensions but I just checked and its more synthy, sound in question is at 14:15 on the show [youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FV9t3bsCC5c[/youtube]

Neither. If you want those cheese sounds get a synth. Guitar is about feeling and emotion. Tele > Klon > 5e3 is all you need.
