I posted this before, but Chankgeez directed me here. Here is the original post:

"this pedal sounds great. I wasn't really expecting much, or i guess i didn't know what to expect, but i really like the sound of the fuzz. It sounds really open and think it would work well with other pedals running into it too. My question though is how exactly does this pedal work? Maybe this is an ignorant question, but how exactly is the fuzz interacting with the other parts of the pedal to create all those other sounds at the end of the video? Again, sorry if this is a bad question. I am just really curious and want to understand more."

The fuzz runs into a resonant filter and the filter modulates from the LFO. The oscillation is from the resonance being pushed on the filter. So you cannot manipulate the sounds of it by changing anything other than the LFO. The mids filter and the fuzz won't do anything it. You can do things like pushing the filter into oscillations if you push the resonance right before it drones out.

Not sure who that is, but if you want to point me in the right directions I'll definitely check it out.

If you need an additional vote of confidence for a random internet persona from a random internet persona... Eivind is super legit as a human being, and great at understanding the intricacies of oscillating fuzzes and odd soundscapes.

This is his project's latest release https://irerror.bandcamp.com/album/the- ... able-dream
(with fellow ILF dude and Influencer™ Ugly Cassanova).

This pedal sounds great! Can we rename the board ILF&F (I Love Fuzz & Filters) because that's apparently all I want to play any more?

Sounds sexy as fuck.
Hey, Ryan, what kind of filter did you base it on(Anderton, MS-20, etc.), by the way?

Fuzz sounds hugely broken and the filter nice and warm.
Love it.

It started out as a the stock schematic that is in the LM13700 data sheet. It's been alter because it didn't sound the best, but that's what it's based on. I really liked the Tim Escobedo MS 20, but it took a lot of additions to make it not distort in a bad way. So I based a lot of components on the MS 20, but the filter and resonance path is different.

Also glad you guys dig it!
