What about buying stuff within the country they live and having it shipped to them? Do people still have to pay customs on that? I have an international one, so I'm just trying to get ideas. I like to go kind of all out on SS if you haven't noticed. LOL. It bums me out that I may not be able to.

No, they won't pay customs on that. Customs is for things that come in from outside the country.

For example, if I had a US target, I would definitely buy it in the US and have it shipped with a note or something and send the swag in a different package.
