McGregor Vs Mayweather
Allright,
who's watching and how do you pick?
I'll definitely watch. Mayweather will win comfortably with a scare or two. I'm thinking decision but a tko could happen.

I dunno who's gonna win, but it's gonna be determined by a right hook.

Waiting on September, it should be great to see Golovkin do some damage to Canelo.

Re: McGregor Vs Mayweather
I'm personally hoping and going for McGregor, simply based on his past ways of saying he's gonna do it and then actually defeating people. Him beating Eddie Alvarez just destroyed that last tiiiny little doubt about him that I had in my mind. However, this is a very different story compared to MMA obviously and I don't really know a lot about boxing. I watch a fair amount of MMA but usually get bored very quickly with boxing. I fact I'm not sure I'll even watch. If I do it's probably gonna be the day after and maybe even just a highlight clip. Oh that's right, I can't watch it as the guitarist in one of my bands is getting married that same night. But yeah, hoping for Conor to pull off another bit of madness, but hope he returns to the UFC after that though.

Mc-Greg is my hope, based on nothing more than watching a guy making $100,000,000 in an hour getting knocked the fuck out would be awesome.

Re: McGregor Vs Mayweather
I like MMA but I LOVE boxing. Mayweather is one of the all-time greats, definitely in the top 10 of all time. Even a 23-month off 40 year old Mayweather is gonna dominate. BUT, what's great about fighting sports is the KO factor which is unlike any other sport ... you really can't make ANY mistakes against big punchers ... that is why McGregor has a chance, a very very remote chance. BUT BUT ... Mayweather doesn't make mistakesPanicProne wrote:I'm personally hoping and going for McGregor, simply based on his past ways of saying he's gonna do it and then actually defeating people. Watching!! Rooting for McGreggor while knowing Mayweather will almost definitely win. I just hope Conor gets made and does spinning leg kick.

Re: McGregor Vs Mayweather
The only chance McGregor has is if he goes wild/apeshit on Floyd. A perfect example of a wild/crude fighter beating a great boxer is Mayorga-Forrest I. Forrest had come off huge wins against Mosley (who was considered one of the best P4P fighters in the world at the time) but he had no idea what to do against the caveman Mayorga (who appeared to have no noticeable boxing skills):
