Framus? Strato/Jazzmaster 3 pickup offset

So, picked this up at a local muzak store that has a pawn shop complex..at any rate, what do you guys think? Plays and sounds like a dream, although someone painted over the headstock (from my understanding but I've seen others look similar) so not sure how to remove that misstep. Nonetheless, a decent offset at a sweet price. And it's a framus..or is it...

Looks like a Framus to me (although, I couldn't tell you which model).

I'd just leave the paint on the headstock.

Right, that's the thing. It's a bit different than a normal Strato, and I had seen it mentioned somewhere as being a jazzmaster Strato. I love how it plays and sounds though, so cool find. Not sure of the year tho...?

Good question. They sound more like p90s. Pretty much a sound of its own. With a little tweaking, it can get near that cool glassy tone of my CIJ Jazzmaster.
