Recommend a website (etc) that reviews music?

Post by K2000 »

I have an experimental/electronic/noise cassette compilation that I want to send around to a few places, if there is anybody that can be recommended?

It's on a small label, 200 copies, if that makes a difference (Pitchfork not under consideration).

I know I'm biased, but it's quality. Nice lineup. (Plus me, hahaha).

Dazed Digital.
If you are an Eastern European bro then Eastern Daze is an awesome blog.
The Quietus, Noisey, Fucked By Noise
Experimedia is a cool distribution site.

I have more, need to go through my list. My favorite blogs are ones that don't post regularly (not helping your cause). Just people who post shit they like when they have time.

Send it to Tabs Out. It's a podcast, not a review site, but it's a podcast about small-print cassette releases, and those dudes definitely have backgrounds in noise. Their address is on their website at http://www.tabsout.com/

Can you let us know your label, please? This way people can look and pass on to their friends as well.

I'll make a Bandcamp or Soundcloud page eventually, with free streaming. Gonna wait on that for a bit, because it's just been released.

Review websites I can mention: Dead Formats, Heathen Harvest
